Essential For Proper Prep

This fine grade clay will leave your finish smooth, silky, and prepped for optimal bonding of protectants. North Star’s Fine Grade Clay Bar is a soft, yet durable clay for picking up the finer particles on your finish and restoring the smoothness we all enjoy. This super soft clay will fit in the smaller, hard to reach areas and allow the clay to conform to the surface that you need to be decontaminated.

Decontamination

A must have to prepare surfaces for protection products. Removes moderate contamination and grime with ease. Removes heavier fallout, brake contamination, hard water spots, and tree sap

Designed For A Variety Of Surfaces

Directions:

  1. After washing and drying the vehicle, select a clay bar slip solution. We recommend using Paragon Auto Shampoo either directly out of foam canon or diluted in a spray bottle. Mist the slip solution onto a panel. This will allow for the clay bar to glide smoothly across the paint.
  2. Break off a piece of clay and flatten it out into a palm-sized piece.
  3. Lay the flattened clay bar onto the paint and work it over the sprayed section with light pressure in a back and forth motion. As you work, you’ll begin to feel the difference immediately.
  4. After completing a section, wipe off the clay slip solution with a premium microfiber towel
  5. Continue working in sections like this over the painted surfaces. Be sure to fold and knead the clay onto itself ever few sections to freshen it.
  6. Once the entire vehicle is done, we recommend using an isopropyl panel wipe solution to remove any residues prior to applying a longer lasting protection product like Firefly Paste Wax
