The Most Hydrophobic Car Wax

For decades, paste waxes were sought after for their warm glow. However, paste waxes became outdated because they were hard to apply and didn't last very long. Several companies switched up, making predominantly synthetic sealants to improve durability. So you were left with a choice. Pick a product for glowing showcar gloss (but poor durability) or pick a product for durability (lacking gloss.) Now you can have both in one formulation. With a high concentration of the purest available Grade A Yellow Carnauba Wax and an advanced polymer process Firefly evokes a timeless carnauba shine with unrivaled hydrophobics.

Don't be misled into thinking all carnauba waxes are the same. Most paste waxes don't feature the same grade of carnauba as Firefly. Such substitutes typically use T1 or T3 alternatives, not the same quality or performance. The ones that do use Grade A are several hundreds of dollars.

Application

One Jar of Firefly Paste Wax is suitable for around 10-12 regular size vehicle applications

Directions:

clean and prep surface (wash, claybar treatment, IPA panel wipe)
Using your preferred applicator pad, work the wax into the applicator then apply to surface in THIN EVEN coats. Due to the viscous polymers, Titanium dioxide, cross-linkers, and nano materials a little goes a long way!
Let sit 3-6 minutes before removing with high quality microfiber towel. If removal becomes difficult you may have applied to thick. Use one damp towel followed by one dry towel for removal.

as with all car waxes ease of installation can change based on the environment it is being applied in. We recommend performing a small test spot to fine tune installation.
we encourage at least a 4 hour cure time before exposed to water to ensure proper cross-linking and bonding

Amazing wax and even better customer service

I've been using this Paste wax in my detailing business for about the past six months. I've gotten numerous compliments on the high-quality wax that I use in the longevity it holds. This is the best wax out there hands-down.

About two weeks ago I left a can of wax inside of a canister in a hot Texas garage. The box where the wax was stored reach temperatures upwards of 110 to 120°. I reached out to Northstar car care to see if there was anything I could do to help resolve the exploded canister. Immediately I was met with a thorough response as well as questions to find the proper solution. On top of making a mistake that was clearly user error. They offered me a 20% discount on future orders. There no where I'd rather shop for wax you need this sh*t.

Used this wax on a dark green almost black paint. It gave the paint the best finished. And the hydrophobic properties are out of this world

I’m not sure what I expected. It Didn’t go very far for the price. I’ve used it on one boat and maybe eight cars and I’m almost out. If it was half the price, I wouldn’t mind, but for a rural town, I’m getting $200 at the most for a detail and these people don’t care about wax quality. I will probably order another and keep it on hand for special occasions and rich customers, as it is the best wax I’ve ever used, but for the area I’m in, I’ll stick with mothers at $11/can. My only other complaint is that there isn’t an applicator in the market that will fit inside this can. I would make it wider and shorter to fit the size of the standard applicator. Great product, but for someone who does 400 cars a year, it doesn’t make sense to order 20 cans of this at $42/can.
